The terms of using capitun.shop and buying from us.

1. About Capitun

Capitun is a small, family-run, UK-based online business selling vases and home décor. We trade as a sole trader, not as a registered limited company, and we are not VAT-registered. This means the price you see at checkout is the final price you pay — there is no VAT added.

Our trading address is Unit 5 Southgate, Morecambe, LA3 3PB, United Kingdom. This address is used for storage, correspondence and returns only. Capitun does not operate a public shop, showroom or premises that customers can visit.

2. Use of this website

You may use this website to browse our products, place orders and contact us. You must not use the site for any unlawful purpose, attempt to interfere with its operation, or misuse our content, images or product information. We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe the site is being misused.

3. Products and pricing

All prices on capitun.shop are shown in British Pounds (GBP £). The price shown on a product page is the final price payable and includes free UK delivery. We are not VAT-registered, so no VAT is charged or added.

We do not manufacture our products ourselves. We personally source each piece from trusted suppliers and check it for quality before listing. Product descriptions, measurements, colours and materials are accurate to the best of our knowledge, but slight variations in handmade or natural items are normal.

4. Orders and payment

Placing an order through the checkout is an offer to purchase. We accept that offer when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order before dispatch, for example if an item is out of stock, a payment cannot be authorised, or we suspect misuse.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay. We do not accept Cash on Delivery, bank transfers, cheques or any payment method outside Stripe.

5. Delivery

We currently deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom only. Delivery times, dispatch processes and other shipping details are set out in our Shipping Policy.

6. Returns and refunds

Our returns window, condition requirements, refund method and timeframe are set out in our Returns & Refund Policy. Please read it before ordering so you know what to expect if something is not right.

7. Your statutory rights

These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a UK consumer. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If an item is faulty or not as described, you have rights including repair, replacement or a refund.

For most items bought online, the Consumer Contracts Regulations also give you a right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods and return them for a refund. Our returns process is designed to make this straightforward.

8. Limitation of liability

We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Subject to that, our total liability to you for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website or from a purchase will be limited to the amount you paid for the relevant item. We will not be liable for indirect, consequential or economic loss, loss of profit, or loss of data, except where the law requires otherwise.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business, the law, or how the site works. The version in force when you place an order will apply to that order. Please check this page occasionally if you want to see the latest terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
