About us & our products

Are you a shop I can visit?
No — Capitun is a small, family-run online business. We don't have a shop, showroom or premises open to the public. Our address in Morecambe is used for stock storage and correspondence only, so please don't drop by. You can always reach us by email or phone during our opening hours.
Who picks the products you sell?
We do, personally. We're a husband-and-wife team and we choose every piece ourselves from trusted UK suppliers and distributors we've come to know. Each item is checked for quality before it's listed — we only sell things we'd happily put in our own home.
Are you a registered company?
No — Capitun is a small independent business run as a sole trader, not a registered limited company, and we're not VAT-registered. The price shown at checkout is the final price, in GBP.

Ordering & payment

What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay, processed securely by Stripe. These are the only methods we accept — we do not offer Cash on Delivery.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. Our checkout is SSL-encrypted and payments are handled directly by Stripe, one of the most trusted payment providers in the world. Your card details go straight to Stripe — we never see or store them.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. The price shown on the product page is the final price you pay, in GBP and including free UK delivery. No booking fees, no surcharges, no VAT added at checkout.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, as long as it hasn't been dispatched yet. Please contact us as soon as possible via our Contact page or by email — orders placed before 14:00 GMT are processed the same business day, so the sooner you get in touch, the better. Once an order has shipped, it can't be cancelled, but you're still covered by our 14-day return policy.

Shipping & delivery

Where do you deliver?
The United Kingdom only, direct to your address. We don't currently ship internationally.
How long does delivery take?
Handling takes 1–3 business days and transit takes 2–5 business days for most UK destinations (3–7 for the Highlands, Northern Ireland and Islands). Estimated total: 3–8 business days, or 4–10 for remote areas. Orders placed before 14:00 GMT on a business day are processed the same day.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery is free on every UK order. There are no minimum spend requirements.
How can I track my order?
Every order ships tracked. Once your parcel is dispatched, we'll email you a courier tracking link. You can also enter your order number on our Track Order page at any time.
What if my order is late or lost?
Please contact us via our Contact page with your order number and we'll look into it straight away. If a parcel is confirmed lost by the courier, we'll send a replacement or issue a full refund — whichever you prefer.

Returns & refunds

Can I return an item?
Yes. You have 14 days from delivery to return an item in new, unused condition and in its original packaging. Please email us first at support@capitun.shop and we'll send you a prepaid return label — returns are posted to our storage address in Morecambe, which isn't open to visitors.
How do refunds work?
Once we've received and checked your return, we refund to the original payment method within 7 days. Card payments are refunded to the same card; Apple Pay and Google Pay are refunded to the underlying card on file. Return postage is free — we cover it with a prepaid label.
What if my item arrives damaged or faulty?
Please contact us before returning it — email support@capitun.shop with your order number and a couple of photos of the issue, and we'll sort out a replacement or refund quickly. This is in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which are not affected.
